Based on my training as an educator and work as a volunteer within church children's and youth programs, I was named the director of children's ministries at St. Luke's United Methodist Church. This part-time position allowed me to help impact young lives with the gospel, a true passion of mine. Some highlights from my time in this position include the institution of children's worship during the Blended Worship Service, creating a Prayground in the Awakening Service Worship Space, combing Vacation Bible School with First United Methodist Church of Hickory, NC and participating in the 2015-2016 Children's Ministry Cohort sponsored by the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church.

Began as a part-time sales associate with Kay Jewelers in 2008 and worked my way up to full-time sales associate, followed by being named assistant manager for the Valley Hills Mall in Hickory, NC location in 2010. Became a certified diamontologist, led my team in sales for multiple months, and was 6-for-6 (met all standards every month) for a year, receiving a special award. Upon beginning my current full-time job, I stepped down to seasonal part-time and continued to work there through Christmas of 2016.

Began work with Larry Grant & Company as a part-time receptionist and, upon demonstrating the necessary skills, began handling internet sales and the website full-time. The company worked in wholesale products purchased and sold internationally and domestically. An enhanced web presence helped the company to grow its client base dramatically.
